Aaron Johnson is a distinguished graduate of Creston High School's "School of Business" in Grand Rapids, where he excelled both academically and athletically. During his time at Creston, Aaron showcased his athletic prowess by participating in three sports, including 2 years of Varsity Basketball, football, and baseball. Not only did he shine on the field, but he also held the prestigious Treasurer position in the school's DECA Chapter, showcasing his leadership skills and business acumen. Post-graduation, Aaron embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, establishing and operating several businesses. One notable venture involves providing essential residential painting and drywall services, contributing to the betterment of the local community. Beyond business, Aaron is deeply passionate about sports and youth development. He dedicates his time to coaching youth basketball, imparting valuable skills and mentorship to the next generation of athletes. In his commitment to fostering community engagement, Aaron took a significant step by founding the West Michigan Raptors Sports Club. This initiative aims to keep kids actively involved in travel sports during the summer months, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth. Aaron's personal life is marked by a strong family foundation. He is a devoted husband and a proud father of six children. Motivated by a sense of duty, Aaron feels compelled to make a positive impact within the community. Karmen Johnson, the dynamic Executive Director of Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach, is a firm believer that moms can be both bosses and exceptional mothers, creating their own paths to prosperity. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Detroit, MI, Karmen's journey is marked by resilience, determination, and a passion for empowering communities. A proud alumna of Cass Tech High School, Karmen ventured beyond her hometown to pursue higher education at West Virginia University. There, she delved into Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing and a minor in Advertising, setting the stage for her future endeavors. After graduating, Karmen transitioned to Grand Rapids, MI, in 2011, where she entered the corporate arena, holding managerial roles at major corporations such as Enterprise Holdings, Lindt and Sprugli, and Fifth Third Bank. Her expertise lies in logistics and customer service, showcasing her knack for leadership and strategic thinking. In 2017, Karmen took a significant step in her educational journey by returning to West Virginia to complete her Graduate program. She emerged with a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Beyond her professional achievements, Karmen finds joy in spending quality time with her husband, children, extended family, and friends. A true adventurer at heart, she enjoys traveling and sightseeing, embracing new experiences and cultures. Meet Yordanos (Jordan) Torrez, a remarkable woman whose journey is as inspiring as her accomplishments. Originally from Eritrea in East Africa, she, along with her family, embarked on a courageous immigrant journey to build a better life. Today, Jordan is not only a loving wife and dedicated mother to three boys but also a thriving entrepreneur. As the proud owner of a successful real estate business, she navigates the complexities of the industry with unwavering determination and skill. Jordan extends her passion for community building beyond her business by actively volunteering, mentoring, and educating others. Her commitment to empowering those around her is evident in the countless hours she invests in guiding individuals towards their dreams of homeownership. She earned her Bachelor’s in Business Management and MBA in Finance from Davenport University. With 13 years in the banking industry, and a complex introduction to financial management in this country, she quickly learned impactful ways of building a solid financial foundation for her family. This has led to a passion about financial education and teaching others in the community to do the same. Aashna has volunteered with Marvelous Lifestyles Outreach and taught multiple financial education courses. She also serves as a Secretary for Asian Community Outreach and a Committee Member for The Dwelling Place.

Former Principal Analyst at DTE Energy with over three decades of collaboration with Human Service Agencies such as MDHHS, THAW, MCAAA, Salvation Army, among others, across DTE's territory. Contributed to providing financial bill assistance, energy education, and various forms of support. - Long-standing mentor in the Midnight Golf Program since September 2006. - Dedicated youth leader at Central Baptist Church for more than 20 years. - Served as a Kids.com teacher, bus driver, and greeter at Central Baptist Church.

Holding a Master's in Health Coaching and an MA in Organizational Leadership, Gwendolyn dedicated her career to empowering individuals and communities. Her journey includes serving as the secretary for the Northwest Detroit Youth Coalition and contributing as a volunteer mentor for at-risk girls at Thirkell Elementary through the 21st Century Sisterhood program. She also volunteered to support students in special education at Lowrance Middle School in North Carolina. In her role as Office Manager at Faxon Academy, she was involved in student services, enrollment, and acted as the McKinney-Vento coordinator, ensuring support for homeless students. With over 31 years of service in human services, her career spans significant contributions to the State of Michigan, Veterans Affairs, and the Social Security Administration, reflecting a steadfast commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and raised in Saginaw, Clustelle is proud to be a graduate of Saginaw High School. Presently, she holds a management position at X-Rite Pantone in Grand Rapids and is also the co-founder of the Top Gun bowling tournaments.

Tiffany Clarke
Tiffany Clarke is a nonprofit executive with over 12 years of experience in grantmaking, program and fiscal design/oversight. Tiffany spent 10 years leading a team of 27+ FTEs at a global nonprofit where she successfully increased revenue by securing nearly 40 million dollars. She has a master’s degree in social work and holds both clinical and macro licensure in the State of Michigan. Tiffany has extensive experience serving on funding allocation committees, teaching as an adjunct professor at the graduate level, and advocating for community change by sitting on various system-level committee boards. When not working, Tiffany can be found taking her Labrador on walks, eating sushi, watching her kids in sports, or engaging in home renovation despite her husband’s chagrin.

Cara Jones
With over two decades of experience, Cara is a strategic thinker with a unique background in both grant writing and grant making. She recently served as Interim Executive Director at The Meijer Foundation and previously led fundraising efforts at Hospice of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation (GRPSF). Cara has extensive experience in growing annual funds, developing major gift and grant writing programs, and setting capital campaign goals. She holds a B.S.E. in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Western Michigan University. Cara received the Good to Great Award in 2017 for her work on the GR8 Sports, Great Kids Program, highlighting her impactful leadership and fundraising skills.
